Scholar Highlight: Vena Kapoor

Vena Kapoor, a 2010 Inlaks Ravi Sankaran Scholar, is currently a freelance consultant and founder of Nature Classrooms, a programme to enhance nature learning for primary school children.

Scholar Highlight: Tillotama Shome

Tillotama Shome, a 2004 Inlaks Scholar, got her MA in Educational Theatre at The Steinhardt School of Education, USA. She won the Best Actor (Critics) at the 66th Filmfare Awards.

Scholar Highlight: Dr. Joyeeta Gupta

Dr. Joyeeta Gupta is a 1987 Inlaks Scholar who studied Law at Harvard University. She was recently awarded the Spinoza Prize, the highest award in Dutch academia.

Scholar Highlight: Mooshir Vahanvati

Mooshir Vahanvati is a 2007 Inlaks Scholar. He is the founder of Rayden Interactive and Rayden Design Studio in Pune.

Grantees 2025: Debasreeta Deb and Amruthraj V G

We are delighted to welcome Debasreeta Deb and Amruthraj V G, the recipients of the Inlaks-King’s India Studentship for 2025.

Grantee Update: Abdul Raoof Mir

Abdul Raoof Mir, a 2015 Inlaks Research and Travel Grantee, works in media studies, at the intersection of media, religion, and technology, with a focus on how communication systems shape cultural and political life. He is currently teaching at MICA, Ahmedabad.

Scholar Update: Asiem Sanyal

Asiem Sanyal is a 2015 Inlaks Ravi Sankaran Scholar. He completed his MSc in Ecology, Evolution & Conservation from Imperial College, London. He is Project Manager, São Tomé and Príncipe, with Fauna and Flora International (FFI) and Fundação Príncipe (FP) in Príncipe.

The Inlaks Fine Art Awardees 2025 at the CAMP Residency

The Inlaks Fine Art Awardees for 2025 completed a Residency with CAMP Studio this September. It culminated in an open day with ‘NIGHT CRASH COLD BLOOD’ - a showcase of their new projects.
