Inlaks alumni either based in Bengaluru or visiting the city attended the alumni dinner on 21st November 2025. We were thrilled to learn that two alumni came from Kerala especially to attend the evening.

It was a pleasure to meet 1979 Inlaks Scholar Pulapre Balakrishnan and 1980 Inlaks Scholar Gaiti Hassan, who had also not met each other in years!

Many caught up one on one, while others huddled together in groups reminiscing about the years they were selected by Inlaks or what they had been up to since.

Every table came alive with animated conversation, with attendees catching up on each other's lives, professional journeys and possibilities of striking common synergies.

Friends and collaborators from across our opportunities graced the evening with their august presence and made it even more special.

Artists meeting academicians meeting scientists meeting dancers meeting biological conservationists meeting actors - the evening was a snapshot of the immense talent in the country.

Priyanka Varma, Country Director, ISF, spoke about the crucial role Inlaks alumni play in the running of the Foundation and that the Foundation's upcoming 50th anniversary would be a celebration of just this - its thriving alumni community.
