Over 65 Inlaks alumni from a wide range Inlaks opportunities exchanged greetings with each other - many of them renewing old friendships and several others striking new acquaintances as well.

The evening was humming with a buzz of conversations whilst the Alumni rediscovered photos from the time of each one's applications and shared exciting memories of their award year alongside planning future possibilities of association.

From the field of sciences to the humanities in academia, art and theatre practice, research, conservation and so on, the alumni represented a range of thought, practice and ideology turning the evening into a thoroughly rich space.

Trustee, Inlaks Foundation, Prof Vir Chauhan brought back old memories and spoke about the contribution of the various people who had shaped Inlaks' journey in various ways including Count Nicolo, Colin Lucas and Amita Malkani. He also foregrounded the role, Azad Shivdasani, the current chair and the son of the founder, had been playing to keep the Foundation alive and kicking.

Country Director, Inlaks Foundation, Priyanka Varma shared the latest updates from the Foundation including the plans for the upcoming 50th year celebrations which would require all the energy of the alumni for it to be successful.

The evening reaffirmed the presence of a rich and diverse alumni community that the Foundation is looking forward to continue to nurture and grow in to a strong community in the coming years. It is now over 1300 people strong and spread across various states in India and various countries of the world.
