Inlaks Annual Summer Reception and Concert 2026

A special music concert was held on 1st July 2026 to celebrate the Foundation’s 50th year anniversary at the Royal College of Music, London.

A balmy summer evening marking the first day of July became a truly memorable one as it commemorated an incredible legacy, half a century in the making. Surrounded by the warmth and good wishes of alumni and friends of the Foundation, the 50th year anniversary party blended timeless compositions and stirring poetry to raise a toast to a journey just as inspiring.

The evening lit up with sparkling conversations over wine and canapes, as notes were exchanged between over 100 attendees and alumni from every decade, with new friendships forged and old ones revived.

This was followed by an unforgettable music concert in the stunning auditorium of the Royal College of Music, led by Artistic Director and Inlaks alumna Patricia Rozario OBE FRCM. From Mozart to Tagore’s poetry, from Purcell to an East-meets-West classical composition by Inlaks alumnus Param Vir, the event featured a thoughtfully curated selection of pieces as diverse as they were moving.

Inlaks alumna Sancia Divina Previn performed alongside other gifted artists at the concert, including singers Vidya Shah, K S Thejal, Simon Carter, Inlaks alumni Oscar Castellino and Gyaan D'Buyan, pianist Chad Vindin, Nina Noble on the trumpet, Satwinder Pal Singh on the sarangi, Charlie Howells on the viola, James Dew on the cello, and Gurdain Rayatt on the table.

The evening concluded with a speech by the Foundation’s Chairperson Azad Shivdasani, who expressed gratitude at how far the organization had come in these fifty years and thanked those who had helped see its vision to fruition, including the trustees, the selection panel members, the team at the Foundation and the alumni who continued to stay connected to the community. He also thanked trustee Thalia Shivdasani for leading and organising this memorable evening.
