Menon, a 1984 Scholar, recently published his first volume of poetry, while Seshayee, a 2005 Scholar, published a textbook on bacterial genomes.
The latest publications from the illustrious Inlaks alumni community are as diverse as they are fascinating.
Dr. Dilip Menon is currently Professor of History and International Relations and Director, Centre for Indian Studies in Africa, at the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg. He continues focusing his work on knowledge from the global south and oceanic histories, and has several published books on the subject. 'Quo Vida' is his first book of poetry, and is a contemplation of mortality sparked by the Covid pandemic. You can find it here.

Aswin Sai Narain Seshayee is currently Associate Professor at the National Centre for Biological Sciences, Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (NCBS-TIFR). His book 'Bacterial Genomes: Trees and Networks' sheds light on the evolutionary and regulatory processes that shape bacterial life.
