The Award is worth INR 3,00,000/- for a period of one year.
Additionally the Awardee will be required to attend an art residency programme within India for a period of four weeks during the course of the year resulting in an open day event.
The applicant must be an Indian citizen, currently residing in India.
The applicant must be born on or after 1st January 1995.
The applicant may be a recent graduate/post-graduate or a final year student from a leading Indian institute for visual arts in India.
If the applicant has applied for the award earlier, they must submit a new body of work if they re-apply.
In the case of an applicant not having a formal degree in the visual arts, it is desirable that they would have participated in organised art exhibitions.
No student of a first year master’s programme will be considered.
Applicant should not be holding a similar/ government scholarship or award during the tenure of the Inlaks Fine Art Award.

As a part of the application, you are required to upload one PDF file containing the following:
10 digital still images and/or 2 videos representing your current work.
Audio/video files can be listed as links in the PDF. If any file is password protected, please provide a password along with the link.
Note: All works must include a list of captions (title, media, year, duration, short description)
The selection procedure consists of two stages:
Desk screening of applications followed by an online interview of the shortlisted applicants.
The candidates shortlisted for the interviews will be informed by the last week of October 2025.
The final interviews will be held online in the first week of November 2025.
The Awardees must submit a detailed interim report at the end of 6 months (mid term ) and a final report at the end of their award term.
They must also submit a residency report on completion of their residency.
